The RFWFS1 differs from the majority of Smart Sockets in that it has a built-in radio receiver to enable pairing with transmitter devices such as a pendant call button. The socket can be controlled from a Smartphone, by a Smart Speaker such as Amazon Echo or Google home and by a stand-alone pendant button, which works independently of a Wi-Fi connection, useful if the internet is not working or outside Wi-Fi range.
