GENERAL OPERATION DESCRIPTION

The GT1048 is an advanced auto dialler that is controlled by radio transmitters. A door alarmed with a GT-Door transmitter for example when opened would make the dialler telephone your personal contact telephone numbers. When the call is answered the recipient would hear you own recorded message of up to 20 seconds. A key fob style two button transmitter is used to arm and disarm the dialler. This prevents unnecessary dialling when not required. The fob transmitter can also be used as an emergency panic alarm by holding either button for two seconds or more.

The dialler has two receiver channels. Each channel can store three of your contact telephone numbers. With each channel you can record a separate outgoing message. Transmitters, door or PIR can be assigned to specific channels, 1 or 2. Key fob panic activation is set to channel 2.

DIALLING METHOD AND FUNCTIONS

The dialler plugs into a land line telephone wall socket. The telephone can be plugged into the dialler or the dialler and telephone can be plugged into a splitter (double adaptor) if required. When the dialler is set to ARM, there is a 30 second delay before any dialling can be triggered by a transmitter. This gives time to leave the room (PIR) or close the door (door transmitter). If moving person is detected or a door opened after this period dialling of emergency numbers will start. You can disarm the dialler from the keypad or with the off button on the key fob if set off accidentally. The dialler will call the first number. When the call is answered the emergency message will be repeated for up to one minute. The recipient can cancel the call and stop the dialler from calling remaining numbers using the keypad of their telephone. If dialling is not cancelled, all numbers will be called.
