YB106 ELECTRONIC DOOR STRIKE WITH CONTROL RADIO RECEIVER

The YB106 door strike is compatible with mortice and Yale night latch style door locks and is suitable for internal/external doors. The door strike is controlled by a secure radio receiver that is paired with any of the transmitters detailed below, including the SMS base station that enables control of the door lock with a mobile telephone. The original door lock can still be used with keys to facilitate entry/locking of the door.

YBH307 Remote Control Wall Switch Transmitter. The YBH307 is a rocker switch transmitter that can be wall or tabletop mounted. The transmitter sends a lock/unlock signal to the YB106 kit. Switch easily operated by disabled people.

UNLOCK DOORS BY SENDING A TEXT FROM YOUR MOBILE TELEPHONE

The YB101-106 SMS Base Station contains a mobile telephone module complete with a SIM card holder. Any mobile telephone network SIM card can be used. The YB101 also contains a control transmitter that can be used with products featured on page 29 and page 30. For this application, a door lock barrel and control radio receiver are used.

After a simple setup procedure to register a mobile telephone to the base station, text messages can be sent to the base station to unlock and lock doors. This function provides an economical means of allowing access to a disabled persons house for care and support workers. There has been many articles in the news recently involving “Key Safes” where criminals have smashed the safes open, removed keys and gained access to a persons house. The YB101 requires a specific text message from a mobile telephone registered to the base station making it very a secure option.
