The system below provides an effective and reliable means for a person with Epilepsy or Diabetes to live a more independent life. The system comprises of the MP2 nocturnal bed seizure monitor, the VC-1 automatic fall alarm with the AD11+ (AD11+USA for USA). The MP2 seizure monitor will detect nocturnal convulsive seizures. An alarm signal is transmitted to the AD11+ dialler that can store up to six of your own emergency contact telephone numbers. When activated, the dialler will begin to call your emergency numbers.

The dialler, can be armed and disarmed over the phone with status reports available. If the first emergency call recipient is able to deal with the emergency, dialling to remaining numbers can be cancelled using the telephone (land line or mobile phone) keypad. The dialler will cycle through the emergency numbers leaving a message if an answer phone or voicemail is in use and continuing to dial the next number.

NOCTURNAL CONVULSIVE MOVEMENT SENSOR MODEL MP2 WITH AUTO DIALLER

The Medpage MP2 is for the detection of convulsive nocturnal seizures as described in “how the monitors work”. The MP2 is fitted with a transmitter that signals a radio receiver that triggers the AD11+ telephone auto dialler when a seizure has been detected. The radio link from the Medpage to the dialler eliminates the requirement of any wiring from the bedroom to an available telephone point. The dialler can store and call up to six emergency telephone numbers. These can be relatives, friends or neighbours who would be available to help in the event of an emergency. The dialler will announce the home telephone number of the user when an emergency contact is dialled.

The VC-1 Automatic Fall Alarm contains a transmitter that sends an emergency signal to the AD11+ dialler. The dialler will operate as described above.
