Special Applications For The MP5-NC

The MP5-NC has all the features of the MP5 with added functions and can be linked to external devices to expand alarm indications. The MP5-NC is equipped with an external output that can be connected to a nurse call system, stand alone emergency telephone auto dialler or a community alarm system (where permission has been granted and compatibility checked). For a hospital or specialist care home this enables use of existing nurse call systems. Or, for people at home alone who suffer from seizures, an off-site alarm can be sent by telephone to a nearby relative, friend or carer.

Medpage Limited recommend two auto diallers. The AD11+ land line dialler and the YB77 GSM dialler. The AD11+ can be used with all house phone lines. The YB77 uses the mobile telephone network and does not require a house phone line at all.

AD11+ Land Line Auto Dialler

The AD11+ can store up to 6 emergency contact numbers. when triggered by the MP5, the first number is dialled. If this is unavailable the next number is dialled and so on. An emergency message is played to the call recipient. The dialler will make several attempts to a number if a call is unanswered.

Powered by 5 x AA batteries (2 Year life) or mains adaptor.

YB77 GSM Auto Dialler

The YB77 is a versatile dialler that is used widely in patient care applications. The dialler connects to the MP5-NC with a cable and does not require a house telephone line. The dialler allows recording of a personal alarm message for voice line calls and SMS text message, to be sent to authorised mobile telephones. The dialler is powered by 4 x D cell batteries (supplied) that last for more than two years. Low battery alerted by text message and voice call. The dialler is very simple to set up and features a two-way voice intercom with panic function. The dialler can also be triggered by a waterproof pendant (supplied) to remotely call for help.
