Emergency Call Pendent Operated Telephone Auto Dialler (TED-02)

The TED-02 is a state of the art emergency help call system designed to provide a wireless help call system for elderly and vulnerable people in the home. The TED-02 offers piece of mind for concerned relatives when their loved ones may be living alone and may be at risk from falls, medical conditions, victims of domestic violence or may have limited mobility. The benefit the TED-02 offers is there are no ongoing fees other than the cost of the equipment and a home telephone land line.

When the TED-02 is set up making an emergency call couldn’t be simpler, press the red transmitter button, the first emergency number will be dialled. When the call is answered, the users personal emergency message is played to the call recipient, then the built in two-way intercom can be used if the person is in the same room. Additionally, the pendent can be used to answer and end an incoming telephone call without having to lift the telephone handset, useful for disabled or people with limited mobility. The two-way intercom is used for a hands free conversation.

The TED-02 offers two levels of emergency call that are simply programmed into the unit. 1. Direct calling to users own emergency call numbers (up to three, land line or mobile telephone numbers with no ongoing charges). 2. Emergency call centre (fees may be applicable for this option) using SCANCOM or CONTACT ID protocols.

The dialler is set up using the users telephone to enter contact and system monitoring functions. The dialler can also be programmed down the telephone line by an emergency contact number (relative or carer) telephone or through a call centre. The TED features a monitored AC mains power supply with 24 hour battery backup.

The waterproof (IP68)pendent has a transmitting range of 100 Metres, making it suitable in most cases, for use in the garden as well as the house. The dialler will report pendent low battery warning to carer’s or call centre.
