The MP5-POC detects nocturnal convulsive seizures using a sensor positioned under the mattress of  a sleeping person. The sensor has a sensitivity control to adjust the level of movement required to generate an alarm.

The MP5-POC has a long range (up to 300 Metres) transmitter that sends alarm signals to an alphanumeric message display pager. Any number of bed monitors can be used with any number of message pagers as the monitor will transmit a unique identification message. “Monitor 1”, “Room 1”. “a users name”.

Please note: For multiple systems you need to tell us your required messages for each seizure monitor.

The MP5-POC can be used with the KS4-POC. The KS4-POC can show alarms for up to four individual monitors. When signalled by a bed seizure alarm, an alarm channel LED flashes along with operation of the built in alarm buzzer. The alarm has to be manually cancelled by pressing the red reset button. Note: this is a long range alarm receiver that can acknowledge alarm signals at distances of up to 300 Metres. No message is displayed. The alarm is powered by a mains power adaptor with battery backup.  

Please note: You cannot use the EM100 and KS4-POC together.
