WHAT DO I NEED FOR A SINGLE USER SYSTEM FOR A SINGLE DOORWAY OR CORRIDOR? For a single user system to monitor a single doorway, you would need 1 x DMU-02 door strip monitor, 1 x TXP-01 resident wristband and either a T-test or TXW-01 wristband to reset the alarm. If more than on resident wristband is in use, we recommend the use of the T-Test unit.
WHAT IF WE HAVE MORE THAN ONE RESIDENT AT RISK? If there is only one door that would be used as an exit by residents, or a door that presents more of a risk to residents should they leave the building, you would only require one door strip monitor with the required number of resident wristbands and a T-Test for alarm cancellation and wristband checking.
WHAT IF WE HAVE MORE THAN ONE DOOR THAT REQUIRES ALARMING? Simple, just order a door strip monitor for each door or area to be covered and the required number of resident wristbands. The wristbands will be detected by all door strip monitors in use. The T-test and TXW-1 are universal resets and will reset all alarms.
WHAT IF WE HAVE MULTIPLE DOORS AND REQUIRE THE ALARM AT OUR NURSE CALL STATION OR LOUNGE? The Central Monitor CMU-02 alarm display unit, can display identification details for all equipment in use. Door strip monitors and patient wristbands all have a unique code that is sent wirelessly to the Central Monitor. The monitor displays alarm calls from door monitors, low battery alarms from residents wristbands and any faults should they occur with the system.
WE DO NOT NEED A CENTRAL MONITOR, IS IT POSSIBLE FOR OUR STAFF TO HAVE RADIO PAGERS LINKED TO THE DOOR STRIP MONITORS? Yes of course. You can have a message pager that will display the door strip monitor location details. Typical message “ALARM FRONT DOOR” You can choose the message that is received by staff pagers. The transmitter connects to the door strip monitor with a signaling range of up to 400M.
