For people at risk from falls when rising from their bed or chair, the Rondish radio paging alarms provide a reliable, economical solution. A pressure sensing mat is used to detect a person in their bed or chair. If the person rises an alarm signal is transmitted to a radio pager or wall mounting alarm radio receiver to warn the care provider. Operation and setup of the alarms is very simple requiring no professional help. The sensor mats plug into a monitor with built in transmitter. The senor is then positioned under the bed mattress or chair cushion. As the user sits or lays down, the monitor detects their weight, which is confirmed by a double bleep and flashing LED’s. The BTXV-02 alarm transmitter in addition to a transmitted alarm signal has internal voice alarms and tone beepers. These can be selected if required or switched to silent mode with transmitted alarm signal only. For a chair, voice announcement, “please sit back down”. For bed, “Please lay back down”. |
