PORTABLE INDUCTION LOOP AMPLIFIER

Five easy steps to DDA compliance

1. Take the induction loop amplifier out of its box and position it so its front is angled towards the hearing aid user and its back is facing you.

2. Ask the hearing aid user to switch their hearing aid to “T” coil position.

3. Press the amplifier’s on/off button once - the amplifier will bleep to confirm it is ready for use.

4. Talk to the hearing aid user in a normal voice. The amplifier’s built in microphone has a wide pick up range so you do not need to talk directly at or lean towards the amplifier.

5. Check the amplifiers AFILS working indicators to ensure they illuminate as you talk at the correct level. 1 & 2 is normal. 3 & 4 is too loud.

Ready for use in seconds. Free standing lightweight design - ideal for counter or desktop use.
Integral cut off timer automatically switches amplifier off is no voice detected for 10 - 60 minutes. Ideal for schools, shops, nursing homes, leisure centres, reception desks and many other private, public and civic applications.

HOW DOES A LOOP AMPLIFIER WORK?

Audio frequency induction loop systems (AFILS) work by transmitting amplified sound to hearing aids. Most hearing aids have a ‘T’ or ‘MT’ switch which allows them to pick up the electromagnetic signal generated by an induction loop system. The hearing aid converts this signal into a sound to its users specific hearing requirements, allowing them to participate more fully in general conversation, ordering goods or services, etc.
