Baby & child monitor - With parent vibrating wristband alarm.

A two part wireless, highly sophisticated monitoring system for babies, toddlers and adults that features multiple monitoring functions. These are:

1. Baby crying alarm. (monitor band strap used to fasten monitor to cot/crib frame) Built in audio monitor detects baby crying or other sound disturbance in bedroom with wireless signal transmitted to parent alarm.

2. Wander range detection. For wander protection and alarm there are three settings; near (5 Metres), Mid (8-10 Metres) and far (15-20 Metres). If the person wearing the monitor band wanders beyond the selected range setting the alarm band alarm is activated. Note: the alarm band can only be reset from the monitor band. You can however, operate the alarm snooze function on the alarm band, the alarm is repeated after 3 minutes. A unique patented function of the alarm band is an approximate range meter. The display uses a series of lit bars to indicate how far the monitor band is from the alarm band. This can be invaluable in crowded places where a child may have strayed away from a parent as you know roughly the distance where you have to look. This function is further improved by the use of the alarm band acoustic finder. By pressing a button on the alarm band, the monitor band produces an alarm tone that can be used to locate the child or to inform the child to stay where they are when they here the alarm tone.

Range detection - out of range. The above wander settings can be switched off from the monitor alarm. An out of range alarm is then activated. If the alarm band is separated from the monitor band by more than 100 Metres an out of range alarm is activated.

3. Panic alarm function. An older child or adult can press in the panic button on the monitor band. An alarm signal is transmitted to the alarm monitor band with a range of up to 150 Metres. The alarm band displays panic alarm.

4. Room temperature monitor. For babies or elderly people at risk from extremes of temperature. The alarm band can be set to receive temperature warnings from the monitor band. If this option is selected a low temperature of 15°C or a high temperature of 24°C will result in alarm operation of the alarm band.

The alarm band features a full function watch with daily alarm (with vibrate) countdown timers, time and alert display back light. The countdown timers can be used as reminders for feeding times or medication.

The alarm band includes the following failsafe warnings: Monitor band low battery. Alarm band low battery. Monitor band removed by user (tamper) or unauthorised person. Alarm band alarms activated for all tamper or failure warnings.
